The police have reportedly arrested three suspects, believed to have been involved in the murder of IEBC ICT official Chris Msando.

The body of the IEBC Data Centre and Infrastructure manager was found at the city mortuary on Monday, a day after he was reported missing.

According to the police, the body was discovered in Muguga Forest, Kiambu County alongside that of a woman before being taken to the morgue.

The female, whose body was found a few metres from that of Msando, has been identified as Caroline Wairimu Ngumbu, a 21-year-old medical student.

According to Ms Ngumbu’s family, she was a friend of Msando and had on Friday communicated that she was hanging out with him.

The police have contacted two mobile phone service providers to obtain phone records to determine individual(s) Msando called before his death after CCTV footage showed the deceased made some calls around 3 am at the city center.
