Poll conducted between April 1st to 13th across 4,497 respondents from all 47 counties
The latest Radio Africa Group opinion poll in Kenya’s presidential election race gives Deputy President William Ruto 45.5 percent of the vote compared to Azimo candidate Raila Odinga’s 41.3 percent.
Interviewees were asked, ‘ If elections were held today, who would you vote for as President?
The poll was conducted between April 1st to 13th across 4,497 respondents from all 47 counties, using new SMS technology, giving a margin of error of 4.5 percent.
No other candidate achieved double figures in the poll. Musalia Mudavadi, however, received three percent support.
6/7 percent of respondents said they were ‘Undecided’.
Running Mate
Peter Kenneth was the most popular running mate to partner Raila Odinga with 31 percent support, with Kalonzo Musyoka on 26 percent and Martha Karua on 24 percent.
The most favoured candidate to run as deputy to William Ruto was Muslaia Mudavadi on 24.2 percent, followed by Rigathi Gachagua on 20.2 percent.
