“I am working with Raila Odinga for the sake of Unity of this Nation when DP Ruto changes his ways we will support him that time,” President Uhuru Kenyatta
President Uhuru Kenyatta has broken his silence over the increasing attacks by his deputy William Ruto during his political campaigns, saying just because he has been silent it doesn’t mean he is “weak or stupid”.
“I will not go on with abuses, that one i have left it to them, let them carry on” the president said.
The President who was speaking at Sagana State Lodge, further blamed Ruto for some of the stalled government projects that have stalled due to misappropriation of funds like the Arror and Kimwarer dams.
“The money you are eating is money that was meant to give dams to the people of Elgeyo Marakwet; KSH 3billion,” Uhuru remarked in his local dialect.

President Kenyatta further spoke about his government’s achievements and particularly pointed out the transformation made in agriculture by Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya in just one year.
“The rice that Kenya used to import from Pakistan because of people who were benefiting through the tenders is now being produced by our own farmers here in Mwea; that money is now going to our farmers,” he said.
