An opinion poll by Intel Research Solutions (IRS) puts William Ruto on 50.5% of the vote in the presidential election if the poll was held today, ahead of Raila Odinga on 44.2%. If accurate, the poll suggests Deputy President William Ruto could win the election in the first round.
