UHURU KENYATTA ON COURSE FOR OVER 6 MILLION VOTES

With over 13,000 polling stations having reported their results in Kenya’s re-run presidential election, Uhuru Kenyatta is holding a steady 98 percent of the votes cast.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission declared the total votes cast as being 6,553,858. Kenyatta is therefore at present set to receive some 6,422,000 votes by the time the count is completed.

Raila Odinga – 28,690 votes (1.18%)

Joseph William Nthiga Nyagah – 2, 063 votes (0.08%)

John Ekuru Longoggy Aukot – 6,299 votes (0.26%)

Mohamed Abduba Dida – 5,020 votes (0.21%)

Japheth Kavinga Kaluyu – 2,807 votes (0.12%)

Shakhalaga Khwa Jirongo – 1,347 votes (0.06%)

Michael Wainaina Mwaura – 1,340 votes (0.05%)
