A fourth-year student at the Moi University whom police had on the list of “most wanted” surrendered himself at Huruma police station on Thursday.

The police had on Wednesday published pictures of Salad and his brother Gufu Tari, saying the two had connections with the Al Shabaab terror group.
According to the police, Salad was selling DVDs containing radicalized sermons to fellow Muslim students at the Moi University and he is also said to have been part of a terror cell at the campus before it was dismantled in 2016.
His brother, Gufu on the other hand reportedly escaped in Somali in 2013.
Their family has denied the allegations by the police.
