Dr Myles Munroe And Wife Die In Plane Crash

The world is still coming to terms with the perturbing news of the death of internationally renowned preacher and transformational leader, Dr Myles Monroe and his wife Ruth Munroe in a plane crash in Bahamas yesterday.

Reports indicate that Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth were among nine people who were killed in a plane crash after the private jet in which they were traveling hit a construction crane while making a landing approach to the Grand Bahama International airport, where it exploded and crashed.

Apparently, they were heading to the Grand Bahamas for the Global Leadership Forum, which had been organized by the Myles Munroe Ministry. The ministry said the conference would still go on regardless of Myles demise because “this is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted.”

“The news of Myles Munroe’s death have come as a shock within the Christian circles in Kenya, considering that the preacher was on a mission in the country a few weeks.

Myles carried a series of conventions in the country, which had been full to capacity. These include a talk at the Safari Park Hotel on October 21, which had been dubbed The Potential Dinner, he also addressed faithfuls at the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), Parklands as well as attended the popular AFLEWO worship concert at Winners Chapel in Nairobi.

The internationally known Myles Munroe, 60, was in addition to founding The Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI), was also president of Myles Munroe International (MMI). The Bahamas Faith Ministries website (BFMI) describes him as a “lecturer, teacher, life coach, government consultant, and leadership mentor.”

He wrote or co-wrote more than 100 inspirational and motivational books, many of which were best-sellers in the Caribbean and Africa. His books; Understanding the Purpose and Power of Woman, Understanding the Purpose and Power of Men and The Most Important Person on Earth, Rediscovering the Kingdom are some of his popular titles among book readers in Kenya.
Myles used to personally address over 500,000 people annually on personal and professional development.

Myles, has travelled to 132 countries and although he has numerous quotes under his name, his popular quote is, “My vision, is wrapped up in one statement: I exist to transform followers into leaders. My philosophy is, trapped in every follower is a leader. My belief is, if that person is placed in the right environment, the leader will manifest himself or herself.”

“AM READY TO DIE EMPTY ” MUNROE

While speaking at one of his now last media interviews (JKL Show on KTN) while in Kenya, Myles spoke about his death and mentioned that even if he was to die, he had finished his purpose on earth adding that “we don’t die, we are eternal spirits”.

“My goal in life is to have everyone die empty……I want to challenge every Kenyan to go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard. Die like the Apostle Paul who said I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and I have been poured out like a drink offering. There is nothing left. I am ready to die.

That’s how I wanna die because there is nothing else to keep me alive, I’ve done was I was born to do, this to me is the greatest gift to humanity”, he told the show’s host, Jeff Koinange.

“I want to challenge every Kenyan to go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard.
