KNH REGISTRARS BOYCOTT WORK OVER BRAIN SURGERY BLUNDER

Registrars at Kenyatta Hospital went on a strike after their colleague was suspended over the brain surgery mix up. A registrar is a doctor who is receiving advanced training in a specialist field of medicine to become a consultant.

The registrars said they would not resume work until the hospital resolves systemic issues, which are partly blamed for the surgery mishap.
