Uproar as JKIA Hikes Parking Fees

Kenyans have taken to social media to protest the revised parking fees at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

According to the revised rates by the service provider, Kenya Airports Parking Services (KAPS), motorists will pay Sh100 on entry and Sh500 for two hours.

Those parking for less than 20 minutes will pay Sh.100, those parking between 20 and 40 minutes will pay Sh.250, while those parking between 40 minutes and 1 hour will pay Sh.350.

The above revised rates are applicable to the drop-off and pick-up zones.

Parking at the other areas stands at a minimum of sh 100 from 0-30 minutes and sh 1,000 for 24 hours and above.
