Coke Studio Africa merges with South African version

The Coke Studio Africa music reality show has been merged with Coke studio South Africa to create the Coke Studio Africa 2017 edition, which will increase the number of participating countries to 16, up from 11 in the previous edition.

The production of the 2017 Coke Studio Africa will now include artists from South Africa, Rwanda, Angola, Zimbabwe, Togo, Madagascar, Mauritius, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, DRC, Ethiopia and Cameroon.

The last edition of Coke Studio Africa, featured Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, DRC, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Cote d’ Ivoire, & Togo and South Africa had its own production.

The new edition will broadcast in more than 30 countries across Africa.

Some of the Kenyan artists that will feature in the Coke Studio Africa 2017 season include Khaligraph Jones & Band Beca.

Coke Studio showcases the best music from all corners of Africa to the rest of the world by combining different artists and genres.
