It seems as though The Star was out to ensure that Kenyans had something to laugh about on this chilly Monday. This is judging from the two rather hilarious advertisements that appeared in today’s issue of that newspaper.
The Star Newspaper runs a full page advertisement on page 5 ‘congratulating’ the Nation Media Group on the closure of their Easy FM radio station and the paper goes further to rub salt into the wound by advertising its rival Classic 105 Radio station, owned of course by Radio Africa Group, as is The Star. Cruel!
Meanwhile on the classifieds pages of The Star, one Kenyan man from the lake side has placed an advertisement apologizing to his wife for a mistake he allegedly committed that caused her pain. He did not reveal what offence he committed leaving Kenyans coming up with all sorts of speculations after the content went viral on social media.
Allegedly, the apologetic man is the famous former Harambee Stars goal keeper Onyiso.
PS. If you are looking at The Star today, try page 24 (or go online) – ‘Robert Ouko murder: Think K’Oyoo, what do you know?’. On this topic – James Onyango K’Oyoo’s self-stated ignorance on the topic of former Foreign Minister Robert Ouko’s murder – we have published our own article which you can read here: ‘K’Oyoo draws attention to Ouko murder with library memorial’.
