The ministry of sports has announced free entry to football fans at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani for Harambee Stars’s Sunday’s African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ethiopia.
The ministry of sports has announced free entry to football fans at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani for Harambee Stars’s Sunday’s African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ethiopia.
The Stars clash against Ethiopia is a big match that could see Kenya make a come back to AFCON after 14 years.
According to Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage, Rashid Echesa, the gate fees have been waived as part of government efforts to ensure Kenya qualifies for the 2019 AFCON Finals in Cameroon.
“I wish to announce that entry to the Stadium at Kasarani will be free of charge to allow Kenyans cheer their team to victory,” CS Echesa said in a statement.

Harambee Stars lost their opening Group F match against to Sierra Leone (2-1 ) but made a comeback last month after defeating Ghana’s Black Stars by a solitary goal for their first victory in Group F. The Stars had a 0-0 draw against Ethiopia in Bahir Dar on Wednesday.
Harambee stars need to win the return leg at Kasarani to qualify for the AFCON finals.
