A reference made in a 4th century script may suggest that Jesus had a wife called Mary and that she was a disciple.
Karen King, a professor at Harvard Divinity School, has unveiled a small section of what is purportedly a 1600 year-old piece of papyrus in which Jesus supposedly refers to his ‘wife’ called ‘Mary’ who may be a ‘disciple’.
