The 87th Academy Award Winners and Nominees for the 2015 Oscars have been announced at a glamorous red carpet affair at the Dolby Theatre where Hollywood’s best were crowned.
Among the winners is Birdman which won, Best Picture, Julianne Moore- Best Actress in the film Still Alice.
Kenyans got attached to the Oscars last year when Lupita Nyong’o won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the award winning movie 12 Years A Slave. The dazzling Prada Oscar dress, she wore during the 2014 awards, whose colour she referred to as “Nairobi Blue,” was also touted as one of the best dresses of the day.
This year, Lupita made an entrance on the #Oscars red carpet in a custom Calvin Klein Collection pearl and ivory beaded dress, designed by Women’s Creative Director Costa Francisco.
Since her last year’s debut in 12 years a slave, Lupita has been featured in the movie Non-Stop, which premiered last year.
