Tanzania’s national assembly Speaker Job Ndugai on Monday banned female MPs and guests from getting in parliament with fake nail and eyelashes.
News coming from Tanzania recently have been quite absurd if not laughable and just when you imagined we have heard and seen it all; the East African nation unleashes yet another outlandish one; “no fake nails in parliament”.
Tanzania’s national assembly Speaker Job Ndugai on Monday banned female MPs and guests from getting in parliament with fake nail and eyelashes.
“With the powers vested in me by the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, I now ban all MPs with false eyelashes and false fingernails from stepping into Parliament,” Speaker Ndugai said.

President John Magufuli has also told women to trash contraceptives because the country needs more people.
Tanzania has a population of around 60 million people, up from 10 million at independence in 1961.
