Rescue teams from the Kenya wildlife society (KWS), KCAA and Red Cross were dispatched.
A CESNA flight ( 5YCAC), which is operated by Fly Sax has gone missing.
According to the Kenya Civil Airports Authority (KCAA), the flight was enroute to Nairobi from Kitale and was last seen on radar at 14:02 on Tuesday afternoon at 40 nautical miles from Nairobi.
Rescue teams from the Kenya wildlife society (KWS), KCAA and Red Cross were dispatched last evening but called of the mission after nightfall.
The teams are set to resume the search at crack of dawn today.
The flight is said to have two female pilots and 8 passengers.

SIGNALS OF MISSING FLY SAX PLANE LOCATED IN KINANGOP
The search teams have moved to the Kinangop, Njabini area in the Abederdares forest, Nyandarua County where according to officials, phone signals of one of the pilots on the missing flight have been located.
KWS Assistant Director in charge of Mountain Areas Simon said the teams are doing their best although bad weather is making the mission much more difficult. He has further appealed for families of those on-board the plane to remain calm.
