In his tweet, Grand Mullah had stated that the County Government of Nairobi is a “disaster” and “functionally dead”.
Popular Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdulahi, alias, “The Grand Mullah” and Nairobi governor Mike Sonko have been engaged in a verbal spat on twitter for the better part of Friday morning.
Conman
Sonko took went all hammer and tong on Nassir in reaction to a tweet the latter did urging President Uhuru Kenyatta to disband Nairobi County Government.
In his tweet, Grand Mullah had stated that the County Government of Nairobi is a “disaster” and “functionally dead”.
“It is a national disaster. It will only get worse. I petition HE Uhuru Kenyatta to exercise his constitutional prerogative and disband the county government and for the national government to take over all services/functions,” Ahmed Nassir tweeted.
Sonko, visibly offended by the remarks went street, calling Nassir a conman.
“You conman @ahmednasirlaw after obtaining millions from your German client with all your Cornell University degrees vs my Kamiti, Shimo Prisons & KEMU degrees I still beat you at the High Court & Court of Appeal in the Temple Point case. Bure kabisa & you should stop intimidating Judges.” The tweet by Sonko reads.
Ahmednassir promptly responded by throwing another shade at the governor.
“When Hon Governor Sonko who served only 8 months of 5 years jail term and who then escaped from prison through a rat hole calls you a conman…you know we live in interesting times…,” he said.
Ahmednassir was also among the first people on twitter to post a photo of Sonko with one of the goons wanted by the police for assaulting former Nairobi Central Business District Association’s Chairman Timothy Muriuki.
