You have the option of doing either a half-day or full-day safari, I personally recommend half-day; I find it more convenient and less hectic.
You have the option of either doing a self-drive, taking the KWS bus or hiring a van or landcruiser. There are always drivers offering these services at the park entrance but to avoid inconveniences it’s best to book your driver ahead of time.
I always recommend Sam of Enkop Sidai Adventures; he is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide who does Maasai mara expeditions as well in case you want to go out of the city.

If you have teenagers they may enjoy ice skating at the Panari Center along Mombasa Road, where you can also dine as well. The ice skating rink can accommodate 200 skaters at any time and is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
