The Kenya Film Commission has unveiled the nominees for the 2021 edition of the Kalasha Awards.

Kalasha Awards christened the “Kenyan Oscars” seeks to recognize the best players in Kenya’s TV and Film industry.

28 movies are nominated under the film category while 24 shows are nominated under the TV category.

Just in Time, which premiered on Netflix, bagged the highest nominations (10)Under the movie category followed by Mission to Rescue, a film that was recently submitted as Kenya’s entry for the Best International Feature Film at the Oscars, with seven nominations.
