Gospel singer Millicent Jerotich aka 'Marakwet Daughter'

Millicent Jerotich, also know by her stage name ‘Marakwet Daughter’ is currently being detained in Kapso War Mission Hospital following an operation because she is unable to pay a medical bill of Sh115,000.

Ms Jerotich was committed to the hospital following a car accident where she underwent an operation for a tendon injury.

Ms Jerotich was discharged last Thursday but was not allowed to leave the hospital due to the outstanding bill.

Under her stage name ‘Marakwet Daughter’ Ms Jerotich sings in the Marakwet dialect and is known for songs such as Berur (Blessings), Boiboyet (Happiness) and Tororot (God).
