Kenya has restricted entry for citizens of all countries affected by Corona Virus and any citizens entering the country from foreign trips are expected to self-quarantine for 14 days.
The Modern Coast bus company has suspended all inbound and outbound services from Kenya to Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda effective from March 19, 2020 until further notice to avert the spread of corona virus.
“Dear esteemed passengers, we wish to inform you that we have suspended travel to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and vice versa effective immediately. Call us on +254709897000 or visit your nearest office for further advise ” The company said in a notice shared on it’s twitter handle.
Modern Coast maintained that the closure of the above routes shall be in place until further communication is provided, depending on the health and safety measures as guided by the Government and the Ministry of Health.
