Over 1 million candidates countrywide have on Monday sat for the rehearsal of the KCPE ahead of the commencement of the three-day exams on Tuesday. Meanwhile, 699,746 candidates are also expected to sit for the KCSE examinations.
Over 1 million candidates countrywide have on Monday sat for the rehearsal of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) ahead of the commencement of the three-day exams on Tuesday.
The KCPE exams will kick off at 8.30 am with Mathematics paper then English and Composition assessment.
On day two of the KCPE candidates will sit for Science and Kiswahili Language and Insha exams while on the final day, on Thursday, the pupils will take on Social Studies and Religious Education exams.
All the examination papers will be available in three variants – normal print, large print, and braille.
The Ministry Of Education has said it will work closely with that of Interior to ensure that examination papers reach stations on time especially in the areas that are currently experiencing floods.
